A fusion of technology, entrepreneurship, and social good

Young digital natives are at the forefront of using digital technologies to address some of the world's most intractable challenges. From local mobile health initiatives to far-flung networks that address climate change, young global innovators are showing the world how to fuse technology, entrepreneurship, and social innovation.

That is why the Global Digital Society Action Plan can only be considered to be complete if it includes the participation and endorsement of a large and regionally diverse contingent of young people. The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2012) welcomes the involvement of youth in the World Tech Jam. In fact, as the first generation of digital natives, young people have unique life experiences and points-of-view to contribute to the conversation.
