Online Brainstorming Shapes WCIT 2012 Agenda
From June 5-7, 2012, history was made as citizens from 84 countries logged onto the World Tech Jam more than 11,000 times to contribute ideas and identify actions that our governments, businesses and society can adopt in order to help address global societal and economic challenges. This real-time brainstorming has shaped the WCIT 2012 agenda in an unparalleled democratic fashion!

WCIT 2012 Unveils Its Program
On June 15, during a global teleconference featuring the legendary radio and television host Larry King and Canadian author and speaker Don Tapscott, the World Congress of Information Technology (WCIT 2012) unveiled the official program of the October event that will take place in Montreal (Canada).
World-renowned speakers will shed light on how ICT is set to transform virtually every component of society and create new business opportunities – from collaborative healthcare, education, and smart cities to national competitiveness. Panelists include: Andrew P. McAfee - Researcher, MIT Sloan School of Management, Jonathan Zittrain - Co-founder of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society, Richard C.
