Canadian Delegation in Amsterdam

As the future host of the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2012) in Montreal, a Canadian delegation led by the federal Minister of Industry Mr. Tony Clement, attended the World Congress on Information Technology held in Amsterdam (WCIT 2010) from May 25-27, 2010. The 75-person delegation was composed of ICT business leaders and government officials.

This world-class event allowed the Canadian delegation to meet with industry experts, policy makers and government representatives from around the world in order to explore new international business opportunities for Canada’s ICT sector.

During the event, a ceremony was held to officially transfer hosting privileges from Amsterdam to Montreal.
