WCIT 2010 aims to become a world-class event where more than 2,500 decision-makers from government, industry and academia will witness the signing of the ‘Declaration of Amsterdam’ and much more. Delegates will mainly be invited by partners, hosts and country delegations. Moreover, special emphasis will be placed on close cooperation with high quality partners, both private and public.
During the event, WCIT 2010 will explore the challenges of change and how information and communication technologies (ICT) can facilitate change - from inspiration and innovation right through to transformation. Conference tracks include: Health, Energy, Water, Mobility, E-Government, Sharing Space, E-Inclusion, Public Safety, Creative Industries and Finance.

Join the Canadian Delegation in Amsterdam
As the host of the 2012 World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2012), Canada is forming an important delegation of government and industry leaders to participate at the Amsterdam event. Our objective is to generate awareness of WCIT 2012, showcase our ICT industry and promote investment opportunities in Canada’s thriving ICT industry ahead of the 2012 event in Montréal.
We are looking for representatives from the ICT business sector and the federal and provincial governments to join our Canadian delegation at WCIT 2010 Amsterdam and help position Canada as a leader in ICT. We are also exploring and securing additional business opportunities for our Canadian delegates, including:
- Opportunities to participate as an industry expert at relevant session tracks
- A structured, networking platform to meet with other SMEs managed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Netherlands
- Assisted introductions and meeting arrangements between other international companies and governments
